Who we are
Full contact information is available at the bottom of this page.

What we know about you
When you visit our Web site, our Web server automatically records some general information about your visit, but does not recognise or record any individual information about you. The information we record and use for statistical purposes is:

  • Your server address
  • The date and time
  • The pages accessed and documents downloaded
  • The previous site visited
  • The type of browser used

We can only identify you personally if you give us this information voluntarily.

We use a cookie to control pop-up windows, so that we don't annoy you with lots of pop-up windows every time you visit the site.

If you visit the site using one of our affiliate's links, we use a cookie to keep track of your visit, so that we can correctly pay the affiliate a commission if you make a purchase.

Your e-mail address
We do not know your e-mail address unless you give it to us.

We only record your e-mail address if you send us a message, either directly or by signing up to our newsletters or on-line courses.  We will use it only internally within the organisation, and will not disclose it to other organisations without your permission.

If you have given us your e-mail address, but do not want to receive e-mail from us in the future, please let us know by sending us e-mail at the above address.

How we use this information
We use this information to improve the content of our Web site and analyse what pages people visit, and to keep in touch with you.

Who has access to your information?
We use this information internally and share it with other people or organisations who need to know it as part of working with us in our normal business activities (e.g. sub-contractors).

We do not share your personal information with others except under these conditions, and we do not disclose or sell your personal information to others for use in mailing lists or databases.

Future Variations
If our information practices change at some time in the future we will post the policy changes to our Web site to notify you of these changes and provide you with the ability to opt out of these new uses. If you are concerned about how your information is used, you should check back at our Web site periodically.

Commerce
We use Squarespace to host this website.  Squarespace uses third party payment processors to assist it in processing your personally identifiable payment information securely. Such third party processors’ use of your personal information is governed by their respective privacy policies which may or may not contain privacy protections as protective as this privacy policy. Payments are currently processed and managed using the third party vendors below. Our shop uses Stripe as our third party vendor. This also enables Apple Pay. We also use PayPal through Squarespace integration.

Stripe provides you with software and a service to process your online credit and debit card payments; Stripe will respect and protect your privacy, data and any personal information collected by Stripe in the course of providing this service. For further information please contact Stripe or click here for more information. You can also view more about PayPal here.

Third party services
In general, the third-party providers used by us (for example Eventbrite) will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us.

However, certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies in respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions.

For these providers, we recommend that you read their privacy policies so you can understand the manner in which your personal information will be handled by these providers.

In particular, remember that certain providers may be located in or have facilities that are located a different jurisdiction than either you or us. So if you elect to proceed with a transaction that involves the services of a third-party service provider, then your information may become subject to the laws of the jurisdiction(s) in which that service provider or its facilities are located.

As an example, if you are located in New Zealand and your transaction is processed by a payment gateway located in Australia, then your personal information used in completing that transaction may be subject to disclosure under Australian legislation.

Once you leave our store’s website or are redirected to a third-party website or application, you are no longer governed by this Privacy Policy or our website’s Terms of Service.

Secure passwords, SSL encryption, firewalls, and other measures are in place that helps us to protect your data. However, no company, including Squarespace, can fully eliminate security risks associated with the transmission of personal information through online transactions, and you do so at your own risk.

Stripe is responsible for protecting the security of Card Data in its possession and will maintain commercially reasonable administrative, technical and physical procedures to protect all the personal information regarding you and our customers that is stored in Stripe’s servers from unauthorised access and accidental loss of modification. However, Stripe cannot guarantee that unauthorised third parties will never be able to defeat those measures or use such personal information for improper purposes.

Corrections
Upon request, we'll tell you what information we have recorded about you. For your own protection, we generally ask you to make this request in writing, so that we can verify your identity (E-mail is too easy to forge!)

If you feel that this site is not following its stated information policy, please contact us at the above addresses or phone number.

In general, we value your privacy, and will only continue to correspond with you if either:
