Being in balance
Friday, April 15, 2011 Living in the world is about balance.
Balance in our life.
Balance with the world where we live.
Balance in the way we travel.
Balance in how we share with all other living beings.

In this section I post reflections that are inspired by some of the photos I take. As you will notice words can stimulate us into one level of reflection. Words plus images go that extra whole brain step beyond. So enjoy these posts. To ensure you don't miss one please go to the left and subscribe to the RSS feed.

Friday, April 15, 2011 What does it really mean to be an explorer, charting new paths?
You may not be the first to go where you go. You may not be the last.
Yet each new and different journey you embark on is the first for YOU.
Open up to the possibility.
Open up to the unknown.
No matter your pace, head in a direction that excites you.

Monday, April 4, 2011 How do you see the world within which you live?
From where do you find your inspiration, motivation, desire and wisdom?
Maybe, just maybe, you are 'chained' to the limitations
presented and offered by others.
Or maybe not.
You know, it is possible for you to 'tap' into the same source from which others live.

Thursday, March 31, 2011 We start life with a blank canvas.
We sketch out some ideas, perhaps a few goals and directions in which to head.
Yet do we really know what we want when we start?

Is it not until we have a chance to experience, try,
know life that we can actually begin to paint the picture we want.
Like an old master your life will have many layers,
some fully covered, some enhanced and embellished.
Play with color, play with life.

Sunday, March 27, 2011 What do you value in life?
When you have to make a choice how do you choose?
Water is precious...
so is gold.

Wednesday, March 9, 2011 What a powerful word today.
100 years ago, who would have guessed that women could so change the course of history?
Perhaps the persistence and dedication of a few, then so many more, can now be appreciated.
Let not the memory fade, nor the significance wane.
Continue on with renewed optimism no matter the wear and tear.
And remember, each woman is someone’s
child, sister, mother, partner or friend.
We all gain so much through our connection to women, being women, knowing women.
Treasure the innate wisdom and uniqueness that
balances and complements what men offer in this world.
Women complete the picture.

Saturday, March 5, 2011 Like a planet we are in orbit.
Only instead of circling the sun we are drawn to that with the most influence and effect on us.
In a weakened state we may succomb to the pull of any thing, no matter the quality of energy emitted.
In an empowered state we become the attractor, the force sending out quality energy.
Where are you in this dynamic movement?
What do you orbit around?
What orbits around you?
With whom do you co exist and share space in this world and how does it make you feel?

Wednesday, February 9, 2011 Brighten the day by being you.
Brighten the day by shining your light for all to see.
Brighten the day by being light.
Smile. Send love. Give.
Then watch what you send out come back with abundance.

Saturday, January 29, 2011 I see you.
What happens when you let me see you?
How do you feel when you show me who you are with all your glory,
nothing to hide behind, little to hold on to?
When is it ok for you to risk showing all of you to the world,
knowing you may be vulnerable?
You see me.

Tuesday, January 18, 2011 Light visits but can not be held nor touched.
Yet the brightness and vibrancy of each ray uplifts our being, feelings and sense of all around us.
Feel the expansion of your own presence when you connect.
