Thank you for visiting me online.
If I were sitting with you right now I would be curious to know more about you. Without this face to face connection I will help you with what I can for now. I do hope to meet you whether in person or via the internet soon.
Imagine we are sitting comfortably together having a chat. I would be asking you questions to learn more about you, your needs, your wants, your desires. Most of all I would like to know who you are. In fact as part of my work I like to ask this question to people - whether one on one or in groups.
Who are you?
So let me ask, who are you? Likely you will give me all kinds of answers but probably will play it safe and stay at the surface. In basic terms you may be able to tell me things like your job title, whether you are employed or work for yourself, where you live, how old you are, what you like and don't like, whether you have a family, your home town etc. To me these are nice things to know but fall into the category of demographics.
So who are you REALLY?
So let's go deeper and I will ask who are you really? Now this is the tougher question that we spend a lifetime answering. You may be asking yourself this very question especially in light of the uncertainty in the world, the changing world of business, your own personal journey. This is great. I encourage this introspection and invite you to continue with the pursuit.
What happens when you don't know who you really are?
As a manger of people, an employee or a business owner you will find that not being clear leads to confusion, frustration, disengagement, poor performance, unhappiness, boredom and less than ideal results.
Perhaps you are in a transition period - you know in between jobs or about to embark on a new stage in your career. This is prime time to lose a sense of yourself. You start giving away your power and authority to others who seem to know more than you. Next thing you know you aren't in charge of you anymore, someone else is now.
So what I do to help people be who they really are?My way of working with people has evolved over my many years in business and is also informed by life experience. I now work intuitively, that is I let the situation you are in be what informs me as to the direction we need to take. Yes I have methodolgies and tools at my disposal, yet I find these can be distractions or ways to avoid focusing on the real issues, challenges and matters at hand.
The approach taken will therefore depend on your needs, your situation and your capacity for working with me at the levels I can take you.
So I invite you to take a chance on being the REAL you and work with me.
Warmly,
Jenn
