I include this book as a pleasant reminder that we can all share our stories! I also appreciate the efforts of Robyn Henderson for creating the opportunity for her workshop participants to contribute.
anthologies
For me anthologies are like dipping your toe in the water rather than going for a swim. Like this, I published my writing in anthologies as a way to 'be published'. I share with you links to these anthologies because I believe this step is a big one for anyone aspiring to get their words out of their head and into a published book. I also believe that the other authors sharing their voice are worthy of mention as they travel on their writer's journey.
Please have a look and if you are inspired then go ahead an order a copy of the book. I personally do not get any proceeds for publishing in these formats. Yet I do like to encourage the sharing.
Following are anthologies in which my writing is published.
San Francisco Writer's Festival 2010 Anthology
I was one of 24 writers selected to be published in this work. Ironically I submitted a poem on Intuition. Intuition is an area that I am quite passionate about and as you may have seen offer a range of work around the subject. So it was nice to get a nod towards the direction I 'know' I am meant to be going in.

What my favorite teacher taught me, edition 1
I had a goal to be a published author by the age of 40. As I got closer and closer to this artificial deadline I got no closer to actually achieving the goal. For many reasons, which I go into elsewhere, taking the steps necessary to be published were too daunting. So I enrolled in a one day course that promised me to do what I aspired - write my non fiction book in 3 different ways. Well I am still in draft with many books yet I did manage to write one story for the anthology offered by the teacher.
